URGENT HOMES NEEDED

URGENT HOMES NEEDED (1)

Animals listed in this section are not in care with CARA foster carers. They are listed for private adoption and are urgently in need of a home. We would dearly love to see these pets find a caring home to call their own so that they too do not risk becoming a statistic in the sadly huge numbers of loving pets destroyed in council pounds throughout Australia.

All animals in this section are desexed and are listed under the condition that they are suitable in health and temperament for rehoming. Please note that CARA is not in any way affiliated with the rehoming of these animals and can not be held liable for any matters related to these animals or their adoption. Please enquire about these animals directly by contacting the individual listed under their profile/s.

  • Description Female, 4 yrs old, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated. Has basic obedience training and is very well socialised with children and other dogs. Peggy is a small, but active dog. She needs a new home with a good fence as she has been known to jump a 1.2m fence. Peggy is very sweet-natured and would fit in as a second or third dog, or with a family with children. About 35cm high, she looks like a kelpie, but with a cute, foxie face. Although not house trained, Peggy has had numerous "visits" inside. I already have three other house dogs, and simply cannot manage another. Delivery to Canberra can be arranged
